Dr. Αθανασία Αλεξούδη

Νευρολόγος με εξειδίκευση στις κινητικές διαταραχές και στην εφαρμογή της εντω βάθει εγκεφαλικής διέγερσης (Deep Brain Stimulation- DBS) σε Ν. Πάρκινσον, δυστονία και τρόμο.

Η Αθανασία Αλεξούδη γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Ιατρικής του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι νευρολόγος ειδική στις Κινητικές Διαταραχές, διδάκτωρ και ακαδημαϊκός υπότροφος στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, στο τμήμα Λειτουργικής Νευροχειρουργικής στο Νοσοκομείο Ευαγγελισμός. Συμμετέχει στην χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση της Ν. Πάρκινσον και Κινητικών Διαταραχών, του πόνου καθώς και σε ερευνητικές μελέτες του τμήματος που αφορούν την νευροτροποποίηση. Εκπαιδεύτηκε στην Ελλάδα και στην Γερμανία.
